We have available for our Special Adventure Camps our headquarters building, a
garage used for maintenance and supply duties, a three room office trailer, a
mess hall for 60 people, an in-ground swimming pool with chair lift, wheel chair
accessible fishing platforms, groomed hiking trails, remote camp sites in the
bush, an abseil tower, a confidence course, two sports fields and an abundance
of plant and animal life. In the spring of 2004, we planted over
11,000 new trees; built our Path of Honour which will have a storyboard for each
Peacekeeping Mission that has cost Canadian lives and we our in the process of
building our first
two new buildings which will be completed in time to be used by the 2006 campers.
Peacekeeper Park is in a "911" area and is covered by excellent ambulance
and paramedic services with three hospitals within twenty minutes of the Park. |
