WELCOME TO OUR SPECIAL ADVENTURE CAMPS SITE   CLICK BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION         The Sponsor a Camper Campaign  assists parents who require a subsidy for their child to attend our camps.  For the Voyager or Explorers Camp it costs $500 for the 6 day program and for the Leaders In Training Program it costs $750 for the 14 day program.  Our goal is to ensure each camper has the opportunity to attend without placing a financial burden on their families.    The Spaghetti Dinner/Silent Auction Fundraiser is held each year to raise funds for this subsidy program and you can help by either making a financial donation or by donating an item for the dinner or the auction.  Last year we were able to raise more than $2,000 at the dinner alone and with other financial donations we were able to host two, one week camps and a 14 day Leaders in Training Camp. We are providing an experiental, outdoor, residential camp with success based activities where our Special Youth can have new challenges, meet new friends, have a ton of fun and leave camp with a real sense of achievement.    Bev Bast, Camp Director          bev.bast@sympatico.ca      1-519-245-5222

 VOLUNTEERS WANTED
     If you are interested in volunteering some time in July of 2008, to work at our Special Adventure Camps, please let us know at    info@peacekeeperpark.com     We are interested in volunteers for two weeks, for one week, for a few days or even for just a day - it all helps.  All we can promise is good food, accommodations, long hours, challenges, comradeship, and a chance to experience working with some very special Canadian youth.  All adult volunteers are required to be pre-screened before they can work at the Special Adventure Camps.
